Xbox 360 that will hit the stores next week is billed as " next generation in amusement." It has got media center features seared in; thus you can watch photos, link it with your computer, etc., by the device. In nutshell, Xbox 360 is a bit same (but better), and not something new.

Xbox 360 has several incremental boosts in computing power, unsurprising bundling of the features (like media center), and the list of comparatively safe launch headings, which cover the main genres. But these all are modification, not innovation. Xbox 360 is the third production console where the game genres and the mechanics have not basically changed.
