Xbox 360 is supported DivX and XviD from today that might make big file collections. We have place out whole collection of pictures, Television shows and random clips as it has been found that Xbox 360 can play pretty well anything. Here are given few notes.
You can also play files off a CD or DVD. This attribute was not listed on Xbox Team’s web site as the supported positions for playing back the content, however this is incredible for homes having the wireless networks (or else no network in any way). In actual fact, reading off the disc is most likely the most excellent way to make sure your movie will not cut out in middle because of network congestion or somebody turning off your computer by mistake.
It supports approximately all files. It also play back all television shows including Battlestar Galactica, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 30 Rock, and The Venture Bros. Majority of these, as well as most TV downloaded shows, are programmed in XviD set-up. As for the DivX, that is supported to 5.0 version, but it’s doubtful that you are going to locate any DivX 3 or else DivX 4 on Internet, unless you are talking about the old files that you have saved for few years.

Xbox 360 that will hit the stores next week is billed as " next generation in amusement." It has got media center features seared in; thus you can watch photos, link it with your computer, etc., by the device. However it’s main characteristic is gaming, like one Microsoft exec speaks that "Xbox 360 will carry astonishing experiences over multiple types, doesn’t matter what the personal gaming favorites are." In nutshell, Xbox 360 is a bit same (but better), and not something new.
Xbox 360 has several incremental boosts in computing power, unsurprising bundling of the features (like media center), and the list of comparatively safe launch headings, which cover the main genres. Xbox Live is now improved also there is some couple of attractive features, particularly matchmaking on the Xbox Live and the HD support I believe this will be huge. But these all are modification, not innovation. Xbox 360 is the third production console where the game genres and the mechanics have not basically changed. First two were the Playstation & the Playstation 2/Xbox.
Now there is nothing mistaken more of the same will earn you a lot of money. Also there is a more and more mature gaming marketplace out there, which exactly knows what it is fond of and will sponsor incremental developments.

Peter Molyneux has revealed that Lionhead has plans for an additional three Fable games, even though the second game is still three months from release. Speaking to Game Trailers Molyneux said, "We’ve got plans for Fable 3, 4 and 5 actually. It’s a big story arc and if you play Fable II you’ll recognise things from Fable 1."
He also revealed that Lionhead has another project in the pipeline and that "it’s kind of the result of an experiment that went incredibly well and we thought ‘This has got to be a game’." Although he wouldn’t be drawn on specifics, he also confessed that he gets his kicks from making games that present a challenge: "I’ve always been fascinated by challenges and I’ve always said to myself ‘One day I really should do a sports game’, simply because it’s such a genre that’s locked in stone – we [developers] know how we do sports games and we don’t do them any other way, and that is a real challenge to me."
So does that mean that Lionhead’s next project could be a boxing game in which you can settle down with your opponent (after you’ve battered them into submission, naturally) and have kids? Only time will tell.

Activision today announced that it will be retaining a handful of Vivendi Games’ franchises that are a "strong fit with its long-term strategy". The games that have been confirmed as being added to Activision’s stable include the Crash Bandicoot, Spyro The Dragon and Ice Age franchises, as well as Prototype and "a second new IP that has not been announced as of yet."
The downside of this announcement is that other Vivendi Games (namely Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Brütal Legend, WET, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and World in Conflict: Soviet Assault) are not being kept by Activision. "Activision will not publish other titles that were part of Vivendi Games’ portfolio, and it is currently reviewing its options regarding these games" is all Activision would say on the matter when we talked to their Australian PR representative. However, a US spokesperson for Ghostbusters has gone on the record for the title, saying that "the game is not cancelled."
The news was even more grim for Vivendi Games Mobile and Sierra Online, which were described as "non-strategic business units".
Whether Ghostbusters, Brütal Legend and the rest of the discarded Vivendi games are sold off to new publishers or cancelled outright remains to be seen but it’s likely to be a rocky future for these titles.

At its E3 press conference, Microsoft announced a ton of new features for the re-imagined Dashboard , which will go live in the fall.
But a few important details weren’t mentioned at the show that trickled out later in the day instead. Chief among them was the announcement that, with the new Dashboard, 360 gamers will be able to install disc-based games to their hard drives and play from there, just like their arch-nemeses, PS3 gamers. The disc will have to stay in the tray, but the DVD drive will not spin, which should improve load times and keep the console running quieter and cooler.
Microsoft also announced that you’ll now be able to access Xbox Live Marketplace content on the Web. When the Dashboard update goes live, gamers will be able to visit the Xbox.com Web site to browse and purchase content, which will then be automatically downloaded to their consoles. The new update will also introduce 16X10 display over VGA or HDMI, and support for 1440×900 or 1680×1050.
These three announcements are part of a larger overhaul of the Dashboard, and there’s apparently more to come.

Microsoft unveiled their newest music related game here at the E3 2008 Press Conference. The seductively titled Lips is the Microsoft answer to Sony’s Singstar.
Lips has a nearly identical presentation to Singstar, with the music video playing in the back and a colored bar to show the player’s pitch.
In the trailer that played for the game, players used wireless microphones that had LED lights on the side that light up as players sing.
According to Microsoft, Lips will allow players to upload songs from their Zune or iPod and play those songs within the game.
To show off how the game works, hit singer Duffy came out and sang one of the songs off her new album. She did not get a perfect score.
